Florida Dems received a warm welcome at the Orlando Convention this weekend.
temps hot record highs! – Dems from across Florida met candidates, heard speeches, and received the word that in Florida this year every seat is available – if we have the energy to take it.
If Bill Nelson, had any doubts about where Florida’s Democrats stood, what greeted him immeadiately following introduction could leave no doubt. Five solid minutes of a thunderous chant, “HEALTHCARE NOW! HEALTH CARE NOW! HEALTHCARE NOW! left no doubt where Florida’s Democratic Activists stood.
He tried to wave it off with a few plattitudes, about getting the president most of what he wanted. And did a quick pivot to a calculated applause line congratulating the president for his NOBEL PEACE PRIZE. [Which most of us recognize is a PEACE PRIZE for the American people for finally cast off the hypnotic power of the Cheney Cult.] And a European PEACE PRAYER!
