Important Action Alert

If you are a DFA-Link member (and why wouldn’t you be), we need your help. There are several Floridians signed up in the competition for Netroots Nation scholarships. This is the national Netroots Conference that used to be Called Yearly Kos. It’s in Austin and getting there won’t be cheap. DFA is offering at least 20 scholarships to help people attend. One of the key factors in the scholarships is grassroots support from DFA members. You can help one or more of us win those scholarships simply by going to our pages, logging in, and click on the link on the right-hand side under our pictures “Add Your Support.” That’s all you have to do. Two familiar names are on the list:

Kenneth Quinnell

Ron Mills

Please go support us now. There are also three other Floridians on the list who I don’t know. Support them as well and maybe we’ll get to know them:

Ben Wells

Charlie Grapski

Ben Weaver

You can support multiple people, and I’ve signed up to support all five of us. You should, too. The top person in grassroots support gets an automatic scholarship and chances at winning the other scholarships increase as grassroots support increases. The top person in the country currently has 201 supporters. Floridians can beat that. Help us do it.
