Who Is On Board With the Plan?

Now that FPC is on board with the Responsible Plan to End the War in Iraq, we want to push for the rest of Florida to jump on board, too. First off, we want all of our Democratic congressional challengers to sign on. So far, we have six (the most of any state) challengers who have signed on. If you appreciate their willingness to work on a legitimate progressive solution to the war, click on the link above and throw them a few bucks. They are:

Larry Byrnes

Alan Grayson

Joe Garcia

Faye Armitage

Timothy Cunha (website under construction, send contribution inquiries to timcunhaforcongress@gmail.com)

Clint Curtis

So who is left? Here is the list of people who have yet to sign on. Over the next few days, we’ll add contact info and ask that you contact each of these candidates and request that they endorse the plan, too.

FL-1, James Bryan

FL-1, Robert Peterman

FL-4, Jay McGovern

FL-5, Carol Castagnero

FL-5, David Werder

FL-7, Clyde Malloy

FL-8, Alexander Fry

FL-8, Corbett Kroehler

FL-24, Garv Bhola

The goal is to get everyone here to sign on and endorse the plan and to keep Florida at the top of the list of states with people who endorse the plan. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be asking for your assistance in convincing them all it is the right thing to do. Check back on Tuesday night for Step 1.

Also, we want as many of the activist organizations in the state to endorse the plan as possible. We’ll also regularly let you know which organizations have signed on the plan as well. If your group endorses the plan, send me an e-mail at quinnelk@hotmail.com and I’ll add you to the list. This list should include party chapters, clubs and caucuses, interest groups and non-profits, blogs (even if you run a solo blog) and Netroots organizations.

I thought I’d heard something about Corbett Kroehler and Suzanne Kosmas, but I couldn’t tell you where.

FYI Garv Bhola is running as an Independant now and Ronald Bobay is not on the ballot and is no longer running for Congress FL. District 24.
