And I make videos. Did one cable TV spot for the Manatee Dem. Party that was butchered in the edit process *and* took so many bullshit meetings that I made less than $10/hour from it. I'm another one who's not trying to get rich, but working with Democratic Party groups in Florida either for pay or for free is such a pain in the ass that I no longer either volunteer my services or try to get paid work from them.

I do features for WTSP (Ch.10, St. Pete) and stacks of online promo videos for local businesses & screencasts for software companies all over the country. I'm a dammit full-tilt, award-winning professional videographer, not some bozo to be pushed around, but the Dem. party in FL *never* treats local working people with respect.

So it goes.

Absolutely! I spend 8-10 hours a day working on a computer for my day job, so it is often hard to find the motivation to spend additional hours on the computer blogging. I'm not sure that ad revenue would necessarily help much in my case, but sure that for Ken and others this would enable my fellow bloggers to provide more coverage of state and local issues.
